Tip #1:  Be masculine and manly.  Women love a manly man, one who isn’t afraid of his own masculinity.  A man’s man.  Women love a man who is confident, has charm, is capable, resourceful and who can be tough when it’s necessary.  It is also important to note that you don’t need to be overly manly and masculine. This is a turn off to most women. Their needs to be a balance between being masculine and being sensitive.

Tip #2:  Be the center of attention.  Project confidence when you enter a bar, room or other gathering.  Be the best-dressed man there. This does not mean that you have be in a 3 piece suit. Just the be that looks that looks the best there and the nicest. If nice mean jeans then work the jeans. Be  the one with the most poise and  feeling of sophistication.  Show off your conversation skills and sense of humor. This does not mean show off your extensive vocabulary  and use big words. Be yourself ; not somebody your not. Don’t just hang with the other guys.  Be an individual with your own unique style.

Tip# 3:  Be prepared to take a risk from time to time.  OK, it’s not easy to approach a woman in a bar, but women admire men who take this kind of a risk. They know it isn’t easy, and the man faces rejection, but you will show her that you find the possibility of getting to know her worth the risk. Remember, no risk; no reward.

Tip #4:  Practice makes perfect.  One way to be extremely interesting to women, is to have a lot of different life experiences.  Steve McQueen was in the circus, the Marines, he raced motorcycles, all these before he became a wonderful actor. Talk about your life experiences. Don’t brag about your experiences, just let it come out with a nice even flow. Having a variety of life experiences will not only make you more interesting, it will give you great conversation topics.  Be open to new experiences and add them to the repertoire of interesting things you can talk about.

#5:  Practice perseverance.  If you have a goal, be it a career or a woman, don’t get discouraged.  Do not let setbacks or rejection stop you.  Don’t stop approaching women just because of a tactless “brush off.”  Remember Steve McQueen’s motto:  ”When I believe in something, I fight like hell for it.”
